Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning in Idaho Falls
Dusting blinds one slat at a time is slow, messy, and never quite gets them clean. Ultrasonic blind cleaning gets into every slat, cord, and ladder string at once, so your blinds come back looking fresh instead of just less dusty. Radiance Window Cleaning is a small, locally owned crew in Idaho Falls. Tyler, the owner, works on every job.
What Is Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning?
Ultrasonic cleaning uses high-frequency sound waves in a tank of water and cleaning solution. The sound waves create millions of tiny bubbles that form and collapse against every surface of the blind. This is called cavitation. The collapsing bubbles loosen dirt from places a rag or duster can’t reach: the edges of slats, the headrail, the bottom rail, and the cords and ladder strings that hold everything together.
Because the blind is cleaned all at once in the tank, there’s no scrubbing that bends slats and no wiping that just pushes dust around.
- A deeper clean. Gets out the dust, dirt, and grime that build up over years, including the gray film that dusting leaves behind.
- Fewer allergens. Blinds trap dust, pollen, pet dander, and dust mite debris. A full wash gets rid of what’s built up, which can help anyone in the house with allergies.
- Smoke and grease removal. Kitchen blinds pick up a sticky grease film, and blinds in homes with smokers or fireplaces pick up smoke residue and odor.
- Gentle on the blind. The sound waves do the work, so slats aren’t bent, creased, or scratched by hand scrubbing.
- Cords and hardware too. Strings, tapes, and headrails get cleaned along with the slats.
- Saves time. No more spending a Saturday wiping slats.
Idaho Falls dust, spring pollen, and long winters with the windows shut all add up on blinds, especially in kitchens, bedrooms, and street-facing rooms.

Real wood blinds are the one exception. Soaking can warp, swell, or crack real wood, so we don’t put them in the tank. Faux wood blinds look like wood but are made to handle water. Not sure if yours are real wood or faux wood? We’ll take a look during the estimate.

Our Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning Process
1. Free estimate. Tell us how many blinds you have and what kind they are. Pricing is per blind, so your estimate is based on how many you want cleaned.
2. Takedown. Our crew carefully takes your blinds down and labels each one so it goes back on the right window. You don’t have to lift a finger.
3. Ultrasonic wash at our shop. We lower each blind into the ultrasonic tank and let it soak while the sound waves loosen dust, grease, and residue.
4. Rinse. Blinds are rinsed with clean water to wash away the loosened dirt and cleaning solution.
5. Dry. Blinds are dried completely before they go back up, so no water spots and no moisture stays in the headrail.
6. Same-day rehang. We bring your blinds back and hang them up the same day, then check that each one raises, lowers, and tilts properly.

Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning FAQ
Will ultrasonic cleaning damage my blinds?
No. We clean every blind type except real wood, which can warp in water. Faux wood is fine. We’ll check your blinds before we clean them.
Do I have to take my blinds down myself?
No. Our crew takes them down and hangs them back up for you. We don’t offer drop-off. Every job includes takedown and rehang.
How long until I get my blinds back?
The same day. We take them to our shop, clean and dry them, and bring them back to hang up.
Can it get rid of smoke smell and kitchen grease?
Ultrasonic cleaning is very good at breaking down smoke residue and grease film. Heavy, long-term buildup may not come out completely, and we’ll tell you what to expect up front.
Does it help with allergies?
It removes the dust, pollen, pet dander, and other allergens that build up on blinds. It isn’t a medical treatment, but cleaner blinds mean less dust in the room.
Do you serve towns outside Idaho Falls?
Right now, ultrasonic blind cleaning is available in Idaho Falls only.
How is it priced?
Pricing is per blind. Request a free estimate and we’ll give you a quote for your home
